Roberto is an amazing painter, who works mainly in Celebrity oil paint caricatures.
In 2003 he was diagnosised with Severe Aplastic Anemia (bone marrow failure.) Most likely due to his exposure to the chemical Benzene (in paint thinner.) He has since made a full recovery from the deadly disease, thanks to the National Marrow Donor Program, the help of an annonymous donor, and modern science.
Above is his 1999 painting of Homer Simpson for Esquire magazine. "The article was about how many animation families are more realistic than most of the "real families" on television sit-coms."
