The Hello Experiment

What can I say.  This is just brilliant.  The Hello Experiment tries to recreate the magic of sculpture that was first presented in Lionel Richie's fantastic music video "Hello".  You might remember the "touching" love story between the blind artist and Lionel.  The video culminates with her sculpting a bust of Lionel all from touch.

Nothing To See

You are looking at a Lockheed airplane factory in Burbank California, during WWII.  It was an attempt to hide the plant from a Japanese attack.  They camouflaged the roof and open areas to look like rural farmland.  Brilliant.

FYI - Little known historical fact - The Japanese attacked the West coast of the US several times, all rather unsuccessfully.  Each instance was kept secret from the general public.
