Don't Get On That Ride
It's freakish, it's scary, and it's glued me to the page.
What could be so horrible - RIDEACCIDENTS.COM - which tracks amusement park ride accidents around the world in the news. I had no idea that they happen so often! I'm warning you, you can't look away!
Here's a keeper:
"Inflatable tossed 50 yards offshore with 2-year-old inside (Saturday, June 9, 2007) - In Maili, Hawaii, an inflatable
castle-shaped 'bounce house' broke loose from its anchors in sudden
high winds.
The castle went flying 20-30 feet in the air with a 2-year-old girl and
a 5-year-old boy inside. The 5-year-old fell from the house while it
was still in the air, while the 2-year-old remained alone inside the
castle, which landed in the ocean, about 50 yards offshore. A bystander
rescued the girl before she drowned. Neither child was seriously
injured."
