Obey The Drunk Giant

-He would drink 24 quarts of beer to "warm up" before a wrestling match

"Sixteen bottles of wine in four hours is a considerable feat, but it gets better. Andre proceeded straight to the ring and wrestled three matches, including a twenty-man battle royal. The 16 bottles of plum wine had no discernible effect on Andre’s in-ring ability. By the end of the evening, Andre had sweated off the wine and found himself growing cranky. He dispatched Hogan for a few cases of beer."

My Next Pool

Years ago I learned how to scuba dive in the 12 foot deep end of the YMCA pool.   I would have loved to do my training in this new deep pool in Belgium.  They've created the deepest man made pool for just this purpose.  33 meters deep and filled with clean drinkable spring water - it looks amazing.  They even have multiple diving bells, so you can talk with your instructor without having to surface.  Bad-ass!

Kobe Does Beijing

My friend Unjoo just got back from a 3 week trip to Asia, and came back with an incredible amount of cool photos.  This one, from Beijing, caught my eye.  It's a really slick graphiti ad (for Nike?) featuring Kobe.

Minneapolis Timberwolves current center Eddie Griffin got into a "sticky" situation in June after he pimped his Cadillac Escalade right into a parked car.

"Griffin told the Pioneer Press a day after the accident that he crashed his car because he was reaching for a cell phone that had fallen off his lap. The complaint, filed in St. Paul District Court, alleges the crash occurred because he was "under the influence of alcohol" and masturbating while watching pornography on a TV set in his dashboard."
